"This is us! Married for 11 years and raising our two daughters, our life has been full of transitions, but we would not have it any other way. As a teenager I lived in an adult family home and I am very grateful that I experienced what it was like to have more grandparents than the average person. As a result, I wanted to be able to learn how to care for the elderly population, so I worked in an assisted living facility for several years. Cristian worked in the construction field, so after we got married we opened up our own general contracting company, which we still own and operate to this day. But along the years we both felt that we had a different calling. That's how Brookhaven Adult Family Home became reality and not just a dream. We wanted to be able to open our home and offer the best care for our elderly, share our home cooked meals, watch a great movie or a game together, and be there for them as a second family when they need it the most.
